About Kim
Kim’s roots in Spokane run deep. A daughter and granddaughter of small business owners, Kim was born and raised in Spokane. She graduated from Gonzaga Preparatory High School and Washington State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work.
As a third-generation small business owner, Kim kept her family’s entrepreneurial spirit alive right here in Spokane. Kim was the Owner and President of Plese Printing and Marketing for over 30 years, always putting service to her employees and customers first.
Through her business, Kim has an extensive background working with large and small businesses in Spokane, Seattle, Moses Lake, Post Falls, Memphis, New York and California, growing their businesses through design, print, social media and direct mail marketing.
Kim is a 1995 Graduate of Leadership Spokane. As the past Board President of Executive Women International Spokane Chapter, she supported young men and women through mentorship programs and helped provide funding for scholarships for those wanting to go to college.
Kim was the past Board President of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Spokane and under Kim’s leadership, the Boys and Girls Clubs purchased the building on Providence Ave where it still resides. She has served on the Washington State University Spokane Advisory Council and has volunteered with the Boys and Girls Clubs and Spokane Homeless Connect.
